Apple iPhone SE: here's the iPhone 8 2020, not that cheap





  • After years of rumors around its existence, the new generation iPhone SE has been formalized by Apple. It takes the design of the iPhone 8 with features of the iPhone 11.

  • Apple has just released a new smartphone: the iPhone SE 2020. No keynote, the product appeared on the online store Apple. As a reminder, Apple originally used the name of the iPhone SE for a 4-inch model that used the design of the iPhone 5S with the camera and processor of the iPhone 6S.

    This iPhone SE 2020 joins so the range exists of the iPhone 11 , 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max . It has been several months since we already had clues to its existence, it was called iPhone 9 . It must be said that Apple continued to market the iPhone 8 , which dated from 2017 - this iPhone SE 2020 was therefore eagerly awaited to complete the range with a recent smartphone and a little more accessible than the family of iPhone 11.


  • THE DESIGN OF AN IPHONE 8

    As the leaks foreshadowed, we find with the iPhone SE 2020 the slightly outdated fashion design of the iPhone 8. We notably have the right to the famous 4.7 inch IPS LCD screen 1334 x 750 pixels with its wide borders which were already a stain in 2017.It also means that this iPhone marks the return of the Touch ID fingerprint reader under the screen. The jack port disappeared from the iPhone 7 does not return him. The chassis is certified for IP67 water and dust resistance.

    The main feature of the iPhone SE 2020 is to benefit from the latest generation of Apple processor, while reusing the old design of the iPhone.

  • It benefits from the Apple A13 SoC, an ARM chip found on the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. This chip allows access to all the titles of Apple Arcade, an exclusive games subscription offer, but also to augmented reality functions (with the compatibility of the latest version of ARKit ). It is also synonymous with a transition to Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 compared to the iPhone 8.

  • Above all, it should assure the iPhone SE 2020 many years of updates before it.
    Unfortunately, if the iPhone 11 had resulted in a large increase in autonomy for the iPhone, this does not seem to be the case for the iPhone SE 2020. Apple is content to promise a similar autonomy to the iPhone 8. The recharge is also set back with this 5W charger completely unworthy of the apple brand.

  • A LOWER PRICE THAN THE IPHONE 8

    The iPhone SE 2020 is launched from April 24 in France, with pre-orders from April 17.
  • Its launch price is 489 euros for the 64 GB version, 539 euros for the 128 GB version and 659 euros for the 256 GB version. As with all its other products, Apple offers a year of subscription to Apple TV + for purchase of an iPhone SE 2020.
